Please donate towels, bed sheets, pillow cases, and blankets for the shelter.  The classroom that has the most amount will receive a free ihop breakfast.

Hello fellow International club members!
It has been decided that the International Club will be held every other wednesday in room 3047, or Ms. Gilani's room.
We hope that you come and join our club to experience in depth, the many cultures of our diverse school!
Thanks so much and join our discussions!
We have previously had a bake sale on December 4, 2009 and we are planing much more things such as International night, a Haiti Peanut Butter Drive, helping a women's shelter, and planing an international day, etc.
I hope you can join us in these various activites and express your true culture.
Our next meeting will be December 14, 2009 in room 3047, be there!

HI EVERYONE!!! 

Thank you for your interest in this year's INTERNATIONAL CLUB!  Since being delegated as the sponsor in 2006, I have always been excited about this club and the impact it can potentially have on this school. Stonewall Jackson has more than 65 countries represented with its student population which constitutes 1/3 of the entire world! If we could just increase our student involvement and participation, the I CLUB could not only make a greater impact in the school, but also in the county and the community as well.  If you have already requested to join the International Club this year, PLEASE began to solicit more students who share your passion, and whom you feel would be DEDICATED to the continued success of the INTERNATIONAL CLUB.

Unfortunately, due to my commitments this year involving my family and my post-graduate studies, it will not be possible for me (alone) to invest the time required to make the International Club thrive. HOWEVER, I am in the process of solidifying a new sponsor who is a native of Japan and is very interested in assuming the responsibility. I should be meeting with her this week and if all goes well, the INTERNATIONAL CLUB will be up and running very soon. Also, if there are any parents out there who may be interested in becoming a co-sponsor, please contact me via email for more information. We would be very grateful and honored!  Thanks again for your interest and I will be following up shortly with news about the potential new sponsor and the first INTERNATIONAL CLUB meeting.
